❄️ Store your silicones in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and high temperatures, ideally between 60°F and 75°F (15°C to 24°C). Keep the container tightly sealed to prevent moisture and air from affecting the formula. Wiping the container tops before sealing can help prevent stuck caps.

What are the best conditions for pouring and displaying silicone projects?

☀️ For the best results, pour silicones in a well-ventilated, temperature-controlled environment with humidity below 60% to ensure proper curing and avoid defects. Avoid leaving your project in the mold for extended periods, as this can impact the mold's longevity. Additionally, avoid letting your epoxy or urethane exotherm excessively in the mold, as high heat can degrade the silicone and shorten its lifespan. Using Mold Release and Conditioner after casting can help extend the life of your molds by keeping them conditioned and preventing premature wear.

Great Stuff!!

As a model builder, parts can be sparse. This product REALLY helps as I can make molds of equipment and other accessories easily AND I now have a mold to make more in the future.
I have had some of these molds that I made for years and they are still good!

What's not to love?

Incredible detail capture, easy mixing, handles undercuts with ease, long mold life (with more than 35+ resin pours)

I'd recommend this product to anyone looking to start making their own molds. It holds detail and manages undercuts like products that cost twice what it does.

That said, buy it direct from Alumilite, if you get it somewhere else (like that plague upon the earth Hobby Lobby) the odds are good that you could end up with a dud that has been sitting for months or even years past it's prime.

I use this regularly to cast my own custom sculpted tabletop wargame miniatures for my small business.

It is amazing

It releases in all situations where any other mould compound would result in a lock up.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Don’t waste your money on this stuff. The catalyst crystalizes in the sealed bottle and makes the product completely useless.
