Amazing Sealer by Alumilite is a water-based, all-in-one glue, sealer, and protectant that applies white and dries clear. Ideal for crafting, it works on paper, fabric, wood, stone, and more. Use it to prep surfaces before epoxy to prevent bubbles, seal porous materials, or add a protective finish to artwork and decoupage.

It can be applied with a brush or foam applicator, and drying can be accelerated with a fan or low-heat tool. Once fully dried, it’s epoxy-ready. Clean up with warm water, and store in a cool, dry place—do not freeze.

Freeze Warning: Do not allow to freeze. During winter months, product has a higher likelihood of freezing during transit, which can cause the product to harden and not return to a liquid state. Ordering ahead of the winter season is highly recommended. Frozen product is not refundable or replaceable.

Amazing sealer

"I was amazed at how well this works. I made a mistake with coloring a project I was told to mix mod podge and mica powder and paint over well let me tell you it didn't work I was going to throw it out , then I saw the alumilite sealer so I tried it thinking I had nothing to loose at this point, to my surprise it worked. I used the sealer on a picture as well for a customer it sealed everything perfectly. I will say I won't use nothing else. Thank you Alumilite"

Marcy (5/5)

Finally! A solid competitor.

"I'm thrilled to finally find an alternative to Glamour Seal for sealing inkjet prints, prior to pouring resin. It works every bit as well, dries quickly to a crystal clear finish . . and it's more affordable both in price and shipping charges. Just use it as directed and your project will shine. The main difference in the two products is that the Alumilite sealer comes in a jar rather than a squeeze bottle, but it can easily be transferred if the latter is your preference. Amazing Sealer Multipurpose Sealer and Decoupage for Crafts is now my new go-to for sealing inkjet prints (happy dance 🩰)."

"I use this Sealant way more than I thought I would. I have sealed Paintings, Ornaments, Wood Boards and many other items. This is easy to use. I always take my time to make sure it’s smooth. I find myself reaching for the sealant often. Leaves a beautiful Gloss finish on Art and Crafts."

Use The Sealant Often and Love it!

"I had been using other products to Glue Paint Pour Drips to Cabochons, Paper Art to Wood Rounds and various other projects. I would then use another product to apply as a sealant to seal in the Design and before adding Resin if Resin was used. I purchased the Amazing Sealer and love that it’s a multipurpose product. I have used it as Glue, I have used it as a sealer with the use of Resin and without. This has cut down on multiple products being used, saved money and I am overall very Happy with my purchase. If you have not given this a try I very much recommend trying it out. It also does fantastic if you want a painting with just a bit of Texture. This will go on white but does dry clear. Love, Love, Love!"

"This is not actually a sealer, but a glue which can make transparent layer on a surface, but it cannot penetrate wood and cannot be sanded to get a smooth surface. For woodworking projects it is absolutely NO-NO product."

Q&A

Hi, I searched this site for "inkjet sealant" and this product came up, however it doesn't address whether it can be applied over inkjet prints to seal them prior to setting the image in resin. Will it cause the print to smear?
Yes, you can use Amazing Sealer over inkjet prints to seal them before applying resin. This water-based sealant is designed to function as a glue, sealer, and protectant, and it dries clear after application. Applying a thin coat with a brush or foam applicator should not cause the ink to smear. However, it';s advisable to test the sealer on a small section of your print to ensure compatibility and prevent any potential issues.
Hi, I repurpose picture frames for my art work. If I use Amazing Sealer as a 'glue' to glue the glass into the picture frame will the resin leak through between the frame and the glass? If I use a heat mat to speed up the curing process will the heat cause it to leak thru? Thank you!
That';s a fantastic question! Think of Amazing Sealer as a type of clear coat. In theory, if you spray it onto the glass and frame where there isn';t a gap, it could potentially create a seal. However, it';s smart to consider that in real-life applications, there might still be a chance of leakage. 🌧?🛠? A great alternative to consider is CA (cyanoacrylate) glue with an accelerator spray. While we don';t carry this product, Rockler.com offers a variety of options with different viscosities (thicknesses), which could be ideal for your project. It's always a wise move to conduct a small-scale test first. This way, you can make sure the outcome is exactly what you';re looking for before applying it to the entire project. 🧪🔍 Feel free to explore these options, and if you need more advice or have other questions, we';re here to help guide you to the perfect solution for your needs! 🚀🌟
