🍋 DIY Tutorial: Create a Stunning Lemonade Resin Tray with Amazing Clear Cast

What you'll need:

✅ Amazing Clear Cast resin

✅ Color Creator Premier Pack (yellow used in this tutorial)

✅ Mixing cups and sticks

✅ Protective gear (gloves, mask, etc.)

✅ Heat gun

✅ Tray for resin pour

 

 

🪄 Instructions:

 

Step 1: Prepare Your Workspace

  1. Prepare Your Workspace: Lay down a plastic sheet to protect your workspace from any resin spills. Gather all your materials so everything is within reach.
  2. Mix the Resin In a mixing cup, combine the Amazing Clear Cast resin components in a 1:1 ratio. Stir thoroughly for 2-3 minutes until the mixture is clear and free of swirls.

  3. Add Color Add yellow alcohol ink to the mixed resin to achieve your desired color. Stir the resin and ink until the color is evenly distributed.

 

Step 2: Pour your first layer

  1. Pour the Resin: Gently pour the colored resin onto the tray. Start from the center and work your way outwards to ensure an even coat.
  2. Remove Bubbles: Use a heat gun to remove any bubbles that appear on the surface of the resin. Move the heat gun back and forth over the tray, maintaining a safe distance to avoid burning the resin.
  3. Let it Cure: Allow the resin to cure for 24 hours in a dust-free environment. Ensure the tray is placed on a flat, level surface to prevent the resin from pooling unevenly.
 

Step 3: Add your vinyl stickers

  1. Add the Vinyl Sticker: Once the first layer of resin is fully cured, place your vinyl sticker (e.g., "lemonade") on the surface. Make sure it's properly positioned and adhered.
  2. Add Clear Epoxy Layer: Mix another batch of Amazing Clear Cast resin in a 1:1 ratio. Pour the clear resin over the tray, covering the vinyl sticker completely to seal it in. Use a heat gun to remove any bubbles.

     

 

Step 4: Wait for the resin to cure

  1. Final Cure: Allow the clear resin layer to cure for 24 hours in a dust-free environment. Ensure the tray remains on a flat, level surface.
  2. Enjoy Your Creation: After 24 hours, your beautiful new resin tray is ready to use! Admire your work and consider creating more custom pieces for your home or as gifts.

Tips & Tricks:

  • Ensure your workspace is well-ventilated.
  • Before mixing, place the closed resin bottles in a warm water bath for a few minutes. This helps to eliminate bubbles and makes the resin easier to mix and pour.
