Step 1: Prepare Your HydroCast 🎨

Start by preparing your HydroCast. This material is straightforward to use with a mix ratio of 3:1. Stir the mixture until it's smooth and free of lumps. Make sure to follow the instructions on the packaging for the best results. Pour into a mold of your choosing that you would like to use for a flowerpot.

Pro Tip: Tap the edges of the mold to release any bubbles in your mold.

Step 2: Cast Your Inlays ⏱

Once your HydroCast is mixed and pigmented, pour it into your chosen molds. You can select small, fun molds like stars, hearts, or any other shapes that catch your eye. This step is where you can get creative with the design of your inlays. Allow the HydroCast to set and dry for about 30 minutes. After it has hardened, carefully unmold your shapes.

Step 3: Attach the Inlays 🤝

Once your inlays and flowerpot are ready, it's time to attach them together. Use the Enviroset 5 Minute Epoxy Glue to adhere your inlays onto the pot. Apply a small amount of epoxy glue to the back of each inlay and press it firmly against the pot. The epoxy glue sets quickly, so position your inlays accurately and swiftly.

Step 4: Seal & Cure 🖌

After attaching all the inlays, allow the epoxy glue to cure completely, which typically takes about 5 minutes. Once cured, apply a sealant to the inside of the pot to protect it from moisture and dirt. This step is crucial to ensure that your flowerpot lasts longer and withstands the elements.

Step 5: Planting 🪴

Now that your flowerpot is complete and sealed, fill it with soil and plant your favorite flowers or herbs. This custom flowerpot not only serves as a functional piece for your plants but also as a decorative item that reflects your personal style.
